The Grooms Wedding Duties

You may be wondering what is there left to do for the groom when most of the wedding details are taken cared by the bride to be or the wedding planner. Well, most brides to be have already made their to do list ever since they were young. Even before they got their engagement rings, they already have their dream wedding painted before their eyes unlike to most men, wedding planning isn\'t really their thing. So right here is a quick guide to the grooms to be out there who are not aware of their duties and tasks for their wedding. Be sure to check this groom’s duties list to find out what things should be done by the grooms.

Engagement Ring and Wedding Rings: Without your "go signal" which is "the proposal", there will be no wedding plans. So first off, as a groom to be, is to make her your fiance. Once your proposal is accepted, you now have to buy the wedding bands or wedding rings that the both of you will use in a lifetime.

Choose your best man and groomsmen: Your fiance has a maid of honor and bridesmaids. As the groom, it’s your task to give her ladies some nice gentlemen to be their partners for the wedding entourage. You need one to be your best man who will be partnered to her maid of honor; and two or four groomsmen for the bridesmaids, depends on how many your fiance plans to have.

Find your wedding suit: It’s your wedding day so you wouldn\'t want to wear a suit that does not fit you well. Choose the suit that fits you best and the accessories you need especially the wedding cufflinks.

Wedding suits and cufflinks for your groomsmen: Other than gathering a set of gentlemen, you have to find the cufflinks for your men to make the wedding more personal to the both of you and your bride to be. Choose a set of cufflinks for the men to wear. This can be your personalized "thank you gifts" for them.

Prepare the guest list: Although this task, doesn\'t have to be done by yourself alone. You just have to make your own wedding guest list first so that you will remember even the oldest of your friends. Soon afterwards, you can combine the lists that the two of you made and check if everyone was invited.

Wedding Transport: Men are more familiar with cars, so it is up to the groom which wedding transport will they ride on for the event. The variety of automobile selection is wide, from classic Bentleys to modern convertibles; the groom will surely find the best for his wedding.

Make reservations: The honeymoon must of course be planned by the both of you but it is your duty to make, confirm, and pay for the reservations.

Prepare your speech for the event: As a groom to be, you have to prepare a speech. So if you\'re not that good at impromptu speaking, you might as well take down notes or even practice your speech at least a week before your wedding day.

Check your Waltz: Most men are not the best dancers, so if you think you need some dance lessons; make sure you find yourself a dance instructor who can help you with those dance steps. You wouldn\'t want to step on your bride’s beautiful wedding shoes, right?

Never miss your wedding rehearsals: Wedding rehearsals are scheduled to make the ceremony as flawless as it can be. So never miss out a rehearsal!
